Biography

Taimur Jamil is the Chief Investment Officer at Sol-REIT, a structured finance partner for small and mid-sized solar developers in the US. He gained extensive credit experience as an executive at Moody’s and Merrill Lynch before Sol-REIT.

Having begun his career as a software developer, Taimur later worked with specialty lending platforms, leading the development of customized software solutions used to streamline the credit application process as well as to provide real-time analytics for portfolio construction, management, and protection. Now at Sol-REIT, the team leverages Solaris, a new proprietary software system, to do just that.
